Swamp Milkweed

Swamp Milkweed [Asclepias incarnata] found near old Stella Mines area on 24 June 2013. It’s a member of the Milkweed (Asclepiadaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 262-263, says that it blooms in summer and can be found in swamps and on shores.
