Pink Turtlehead[Chelone lyonii] found at NC Arboretum on 3 September 2013. It’s a member of the Figwort (Scrophulariaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 94-95, states that it blooms in moist thickets in late summer and fall, and that it escaped from cultivated gardens. USDA Plants Listing: Chelone lyonii
