Trumpet Honeysuckle

Trumpet Honeysuckle [Lonicera sempervirens] found on a fence near the goat barn at Carl Sandburg Home on Memorial Day, 27 May 2013. It’s a vine that’s a member of the Honeysuckle (Caprifoliaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 326-327, states it can be found woods and thickets.
