Leafy Spurge

Leafy Spurge [Euphorbia esula] in the Mitchell, Ontario Demonstration Forest on on 19 June 2013. It’s a member of the Spurge (Euphorbiaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 408-409, says that it blooms from spring to fall, has a milky juice, and grows in waste places and roadsides.
