It’s the member of the Mallow (Malvaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 204-205, states it blooms in summer and fall and grows in waste places.

Oswego Tea or Bee Balm [Monarda didyma] photos were taken at the Pisgah Center for Wildlife Education, Pisgah Forest, NC on 20 July 2013. It’s the member of the Mint (Lamiaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 92-93, states it blooms in summer and fall, is an “old-fashioned garden plant,” a “favorite of hummingbirds,” escaped from cultivation, and grows in rich moist soil.

Sweetclover or White Sweet Clover[Melilotus officinalis] found at Fletcher Park on 11 July 2013. It’s the member of the Pea or Bean (Fabaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 60-61, states it blooms in late spring to fall and can be found on roadsides and waste places. It also lists it’s scientific name as Melilotus alba.
