Spiderwort or Bluejacket [Tradescantia ohiensis] found on Bearwallow Mountain and in Gerton on 14 June 2013. It’s a member of the Spiderwort (Commelinaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 120-121, says that it grows in woods and meadows.
