Partridge Pea [Chamaecrista fasciculata] found near Fletcher Park on 7 August 2014. It’s a member of the Pea (Fabaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 236-237, states it blooms in summer and fall in sandy fields. Newcomb’s lists it under the synonym of Cassia fasciculata.
