Maidenstears or Bladder Campion [Silene vulgaris] found near in Chatham, Ontario on 18 June and in St. Marys on 19 June 2013. It’s a member of the Pink (Caryophyllaceae) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 260-261, says that it comes out in spring and summer grows in fields and roadsides.
