Meadow Beauty or Handsome Harry [Rhexia virginica] found in our backyard in Fletcher on 26 August 2015. It’s a member of the Meadow Beauty (Rhexia) family. Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide, pages 160-161, states it blooms in summer in low meadows and sandy swamps. USDA Plants Listing: Rhexia virginica
